Barbara Brooks

I have enjoyed working as an Occupational Therapist for over 20 years and have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in several areas of Occupational Therapy, including but not limited to assistive technology, home modifications, pressure care management, falls prevention, and dementia care.

My strengths lie in my broad experience working with adults, in various settings including acute care, palliative care, persistent pain, community health, specialist wheelchair seating and workplace rehabilitation. 

I have a passion for working in aged care and would consider myself a specialist in this area, delivering services to the Townsville community prior to and beyond the inception of My Aged Care.
